I have completed a 3-year full-time work experience as industrial designer in the fashion industry. My focus was on all types of leather products (bags, backpacks, wallets, etc.) - drafting CAD patterns from the first samples aimed at fashion shows and showrooms to production-ready files.

Main responsibilities
Drafting patterns from a sketch or image of a finished product (AutoCAD & Cleopatra parametric software)
selecting and assigning raw materials (leather), support materials, and metal hardware
defining and updating BOMs
updating the client's product PLM
coordinating product operations with the client's other manufacturers across Europe
preventing quality issues, testing products and processes for long-term durability
able to manage full prototyping process, from cutting (Teseo / Comelz) to assembly (bag construction)
creating technical sheets and manufacturing instructions
collecting daily feedback from manufacturers and providing immediate support
